Students who follow a medically prescribed diet should schedule an appointment with our registered dietitian.

Types of Vegetarianism
Being a vegetarian means different things to different people. The most common types of vegetarianism are:
Avoid meat, poultry, seafood, fish, dairy products, eggs and foods that are derived from animal products (i.e. honey, gelatin, and whey). Considered total vegetarian or strict vegetarian.
Does not eat any meat, fish, or poultry. A typical ovo-lacto vegetarian diet includes fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, dairy, and egg products.
Allows the consumption of eggs but not dairy products.
Includes dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, ghee, cream, and kefir, but excludes eggs.
Food served at RPS Dining locations is prepared in an area where the following "Top 8" allergens are present: fish, SHELLFISH (shrimp), peanuts, tree nuts, soy, eggs, dairy, gluten, and sesame. Ingredient cross-contact is possible. RPS Dining cannot guarantee that any item prepared in our kitchen is free of a certain ingredient or allergen.
Customers with life-threatening allergies should use caution. Request to speak with the chef at dining locations to prepare food in allergen-free areas for your specific dietary needs. If you have food allergies or any additional questions, please call the RPS Registered Dietitian: 812-856-5851.

Foods identified as not containing wheat may not be certified Gluten Free. Cross-contact with gluten may occur during food preperation. If you are sensitive to gluten, consult the Registered Dietitian or ask the Chef or Dining Manager on site for an ingredient list. Our staff is happy to accommodate your request to have your meal prepared in a manner that reduces cross-contact as much as possible.
